Fourth-graders, including student athletes, in Mrs. Piccola and Mrs. Hickey’s fourth-grade class at Davison Avenue Intermediate School in the Malverne Union Free School District wrote letters to U.S. service personnel.
Earlier in the year, the class adopted a US Marine Battalion from Camp Pendelton in California and this was their final letter as their fourth-grade school year comes to an end.
